Academic background – I have postgraduate qualifications and regularly work with university students to proofread and edit their academic texts. Aside from grammar and comprehension, obtaining the highest score possible by meeting the assignment brief is also considered.

Extensive experience – I have been teaching IELTS/PTE/ISLPR/OET successfully for many years, I have also been an examiner, trained IELTS/PTE/OET tutors, and taken all three tests. Experiencing the exams first-hand means I fully understand your challenges and know how to get the results you need.

For IELTS, PTE, ISLPR, OET, GAMSAT, General English, and Business English:

Online lessons $80 AUD per hour

Face-to-face lessons $100 AUD per hour

Career coaching – I currently work as a manager working with local and migrant professionals to support their skills in effective communication, writing, presentations, meetings, and how to change your mindset so that they are respected in the workplace. I also assist with job hunting skills, CV and cover letter writing, LinkedIn profile writing and excelling in an interview. Alongside this, I provide professional support with conflict resolution in the workplace and understanding business psychology.

It is rare to find a professional coach with this much experience. As a multipotentialite, I have a diverse range of skills, interests and skills that help build a holistic approach to language, community, work and life.

Lateness and Cancellations

I want you to succeed as much as you do. Therefore, I appreciate students who respect the time I dedicate to helping them. 

If you are late, you cannot get extra time or a refund. I have the right to cancel a lesson if you are more than 10 minutes late. You are responsible for starting on time. If I am late, then we will finish until you get your full time  or we can rearrange a longer lesson next time. Please understand I may have other students waiting after you so it is not always possible to extend the lesson.

If you cancel a lesson, you must let me know at least 24 hours before the lesson. Otherwise I will charge you for that lesson or cancel all lessons with you. If I have to cancel a lesson and you have not paid, I do not have to give you any prior notice. However, I will notify you if I have to cancel on the day. If you have paid, then I will give your next lesson for free or you can request a refund.

For emergencies, you must call me and never use text or email to inform me. You must give at least 2 hours’ notice by phone call only.
